Am a big fan of GNU/Linux and FOSS. It has been a tremondous learning and very satisfying experience ever since I got involved thanks to LKLUG/LSF for initializing me to what Open linux communities are like. I recommend you join a LUG, like the LKLUG if you are interested in FOSS and there is a lot of people to help you out. That is the FOSS spirit! :-)
