Personal Website-Last Updated-July 28,2006
Hi, welcome to my personal space in Web. This site contains little information about myself and verry little informaton about my work with linux (which is actualy little).

Following is a list of stories and articles can be found in this site and related downloads can be found in the downloads section. I hope you find anything your interest here.

  • Who am I
You can find out about me in this introduction writeup.

  • PHP to HTML converterNew
Until recently this website was running on a simple CMS, written by me (which was my first PHP coding), which was working on a file based data engine, again written by me. It was a happy CMS until we decided to remove PHP support from linux.lk for several reasons. I'm not a generally busy person but free time of mine is allocated (multiplexed) in to so many areas, and attention to my web site, was very low.

  • Profile your network settings with NetProf
This year started with a bug in my brain, an idea of network profiling...which I thought a cool idea but later became something I can not live without, NetProf. We can simply profile your network settings to adjust to different environments to with ease.

  • Searchable Plug-in for FireFox
Yet another fun day trying to search LK LUG archives in FireFox search bar, finally ended up reading about mycroft and sherlock and lot more, but it was fun and thought to share with you all.

  • Installing Oracle on Debian
This is to share my experience about Installing Oracle on Debian (which is not a supported ditribution). This will just another method to install Oracle on Linux.

  • Horde+IMP Howto
Yet another unofficial howto on setting up web-mail using Horde framework and IMP.

  • Transparent proxying
Sometime back (this is quite old, did not get a time to revise this) I prepared a manual, well sort of a how-to for setting up Trans-Proxies. This is more like a guide than a howto (definetely unofficial howto).
